Why was Project BEA started?

"My grandma, Bea, needed a great deal of care in her final years. We found that, when looking for this care, there was not one good source of elder care information. It was difficult to find caregivers and products & services that would meet her needs. Unfortunately, she passed away in June of 2009, but her situation gave me the idea to start a website with a free message board for caregivers and a place where caregivers can find related products & services to help in the care of their loved one. I put the idea on hold, until now, as I was also extensively caring for an elderly family friend who has early dementia. Since we have been able to find additional care for her, and since she is also in favor of this type of website, I have decided now is the time to make it happen. This website stems from a passion of mine to help elderly people and their caregivers and families. I have the personal drive, necessary team of experts, and the professional savvy to make this website a success. Why do I need a webpage?

We all know that consumers use a number of sources to find local information. To succeed, as you know, businesses need a mix of tools to reach them. What do the basic & platinum packages offer?

The Basic Package includes a listing in our directory with your business name, address, phone number, website address, e-mail address, and type of product or service. $99 for one year

The Platinum Package includes everything you get in the Basic Package PLUS your listing will contain a link to another page on our website devoted specifically to your business with your logo and an appropriate photo (provided by you and e-mailed to Contact@ProjectBEA.com) and detailed information about your business and its products and/or services. NO ads will be placed on your webpage; your webpage will only be about your business. If you do not already have a website, you can use the webpage address we will create for you in your own advertising. This is a cost effective way to have your own webpage on the Internet for the duration of your contract with Project BEA. As an added bonus, the 12 Month Platinum Package features your own domain name connected with your Project BEA webpage at no extra cost to you. So, instead of ProjectBEA.com/YourBusinessName.html, your website address will be YourBusinessName.com, (or whatever website address you prefer, as long as it is currently available). If you already have a website, you will still get a separate webpage on Project BEA, devoted solely to your business, which will gain more exposure for your elder care services or products. It will also include a link to your actual website. $250 for one year

You will be listed in the state and county you select as your business address.  If your business covers more than one state or more than one county (parish), the charge is an additional $3.00 per state and county for the length of your package, which will be billed separately.  You will be given the opportunity to list these states/counties after you choose your database advertisement package and complete that payment.  For example, if you chose the Platinum package and wanted to be listed in one county in Wisconsin, Illinois, & Minnesota, your additional cost would be $6.00 (as your first state listing is included in the package price), so your total would be $256 for the year.  (The additional per state/county charge will be billed by us with a separate invoice.)  If your business is quite large, covering many counties and states, we can quote a customized rate for your unique business needs.

What was Bea like?

Bea, Defined: She was once a curious baby, taking her first cautious steps; a small child, playing with her doll; a young lady, giddy with anticipation for her first date; a new bride, attentive to her husband; a young mother, giving her children all they needed; an intelligent lady, successful in business; a maturing woman, eager to watch her grandchildren grow and provide care to her ailing partner....She never knew she'd become labeled as a "nuisance" by her neighbors once she became a misunderstood "old lady" with early dementia.
