To use the chatroom, create an account with a username and password or log-in with just a username by marking the "guest" checkbox.  Please note:  The first time you use chat or the forum, you will need to make a log-in for each one.  Register your username with the forum and then register the same username separately with chat.  You can easily alter the settings of the chat by clicking "Settings" at the top of the chat window once you are logged in.  You may customize your preferred language, time zone, time format, sound alerts, and more.

OATMEAL CINNAMON CHIP COOKIES [Message #1]

Oatmeal Cinnamon hCip Cookies

1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine softened
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 twaspoons vanilla extract
1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup applesauce
2 1/2 cups quick cooking oats
1 2/3 cups (10 oz package)Hersheys cinnamon chips
3/4 cups raisins (optional)

1.Heat oven to 350 degrees

2. Beat butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar in a bowl til creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Combine flour and baking soda; add to butter mixture, beating well. Stir in oats, cinnamon chips and if desired raisins, (Batter will be stiff.)

3. Drop by heaping teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet, Bake 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 1 minute remove from cookie sheet to wire rack, Makes about 4 dozen.
